Happy New Year,
Welcome to 2013. Have you been thinking about your business over the new year?
Have you been toying with new goals for your business this year?
My goal is to improve my health which in turn hopefully will improve my focus and productivity.
Today I welcomed the new year in with a swim at our local pool followed by a kale and apple vegetable juice. Kale is this weird green wrinkly dark green vegetable that is supposed to be super healthy. The drink tastes fine. I could probably not drink it like champagne! but it is not as offensive as it looks. Swimming is a great activity for thinking, as there are no other interruptions – that is if your goggles are not annoying you!
I then visited my garden to snip some chives (the easiest herb to sow and harvest!) for my scrambled egg on rye I was pleased to discover the Magnolia my best friend gave me had flowered. It is so beautiful and has a lovely scent to match.

My goals for 2013
1. Fresh vegetable juice every day
2. Harvest, sow and enjoy food from my garden
3. Identify productivity improvements for my own business and share them with my clients
4. Launch my second book Learn Small Business Start-Up in 7 Days and actively work with book sellers to keep it on their shelf!
5. Finish my third book and see it launched mid year.
